Some disc generate white noise with dvdzip lite |
| Answer: The white noise problem may be caused by 24 bit LPCM. At present, dvdzip lite only can process 16 bit sound (16 bit sound is standard), so if the audio track is 24 bit, the output file will be white noise. You can choose AC3 in "Audio track" combo-box. |

| Answer:An ASPI driver is required for DVD ripping. Windows 95 or 98 comes with the ASPI manager pre-installed, while NT does not. To tell if you have an ASPI manager installed, look for a file called WNASPI32.DLL in your Windows system directory (c:\windows\system or c:\winnt\system32 are common locations). If dvdzip lite is unable to find the ASPI driver, you can download an ASPI driver from here. |
| Can not read from XXXXX.vob, why? |
| Answer:This problem results from the copy protection of your dvd disc. To unlock the dvd disc, you can also use dvd player software. PowerDVD will do the job. Just play the DVD with PowerDVD and run dvdzip lite, the "Can not read..." problem will go away. |
What is .IFO file?
Answer:The .IFO (and backup .BUP) files contain menus and other information about the video and audio.
What is .VOB and .AOB file?
Answer:VOB files (for DVD-Video) and .AOB files (for DVD-Audio) are MPEG-2 program streams with additional packets containing navigation and search information.

Answer:You should install DIVX codec before you can encode to divx avi files. You can download divx codec from http://www.divx.com
How to convert to a big file without split to several 700M files?
Answer:At the last step of the wizard, you can select the output file size to "infinite" instead of the default 74Minute VCD or 74Minute ISO CD.

I'm not able to see all the buttons and controls.Only about 2/3 of the program screen is visible.
Answer:Please Change the Screen Size Using Windows XP. Screen resolution settings determine the amount of information your monitor displays. At low settings, screen contents appear as if viewed through a close-up camera lens you see a relatively small amount of information (only part of a spreadsheet or Web page, for example), but the items themselves (text, pictures, etc.) appear relatively large. High-resolution settings provide a bird's-eye view梞ore information is visible but the items on the screen appear smaller. In Windows XP, changing screen resolution settings to suit your preferences is easy.
To change screen resolution
1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.Click Appearance and Themes.
3.Under Pick a task, click Change the screen resolution.
4.On the Settings tab, under Screen resolution, drag the slider to the resolution you want,end and then click Apply.Please try the windows Standard resolution.
